details

After completing his studies and the first state examination in Saarbruecken, Guido Brucker participated in a post-graduate course at the "European School of Law and Economics" in Hamburg, Rotterdam and Madrid, which he completed with an M.A. in "Law and Economics" from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. He performed his legal internship in Berlin, with stations at the Department for Finance and Business, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Deutsche Tractebel AG.

From December 2000 to February 2003, Guido Brucker worked as an in-house counsel for ares Energie-direkt GmbH, where he dealt with various problems relating to the liberalised energy market, particularly with terms of grid access, as well as issues of contract and cartel law.

Guido Brucker then worked as a head of balancing group/network congestion management for Vattenfall Europe Transmission GmbH in Berlin. His main responsibilities there were the design and negotiation of balancing agreements, transit agreements and data exchange agreements, as well as establishing a method for control zone clearing.

Guido Brucker has worked as a lawyer since November 2004. After working at the Hamburg law firm of Schulz Noack Baerwinkel, where he specialised in renewable energy law and the law of concession agreements, he joined our firm in January 2006, where he advises and represents clients on issues and problems of energy and energy anti-trust law, as well as renewable energy law.
