Mr. Otto studied at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena, thereby focussing on energy law. Following his first state examination in 2007, he completed his legal internship in the District Court Area of Erfurt with stations, inter alia, at the Thuringian Ministry of Economy, Technology and Labour, a Thuringian law firm specialized in energy law as well as with the wind energy converter manufacturer Enercon situated in Aurich.
Since May 2010, Mr. Otto has been enhancing our team with respect to general contract law and energy law as well as the laws of renewable energies. Moreover, assisted by Prof. Dr. Weyer (Institute of German and International Mining and Energy Law at Technical University of Clausthal), Mr. Otto concentrates on his doctorate in the area of energy industry law.
